The aim of the VIB Center for Inflammation Research (IRC) is to unravel the mechanisms of immunity and inflammation for better prevention and therapy of human chronic disease.

We bring together the scientific community of VIB, Ghent University and others by inviting top speakers whose work is of general interest for everyone who wants to follow current trends in immunology.
