19th Euroconference on Apoptosis “Metabolism, Epigenetics and Cell Death”
8th Training course on 'Concepts and Methods in Programmed Cell Death'
September 14-17, 2011
Stockholm, Sweden

Welcome!

We are pleased to announce that the 19th Euroconference on Apoptosis entitled “Metabolism, Epigenetics and Cell Death” and the 8th Training course on 'Concepts and Methods in Programmed Cell Death' will be held in Stockholm, Sweden from September 14-17, 2011 at the conference centre Norra Latin, located in the heart of Stockholm.

We would like to welcome you to Stockholm, the Royal Capital of Sweden. Discover a city like no other - a city built on 14 islands, where you are never far from the water. Well-preserved medieval buildings stand alongside modern architecture. Stockholm is also home of the Nobel Prize. And just outside the city, the archipelago of 24,000 islands is waiting to be explored. Stockholm is a city of contrasts - water and islands, history and innovation, small town and big city, short winter days and long, light summer nights - with a dazzling array of impressions. Thanks to the city’s compact size, you can see and do most things in a short space of time - which makes it a perfect destination for city breaks or longer stays, all the year round.

ECDO 2011 in Stockholm is the biggest and most important cell death research meeting hitherto organised in Sweden. We anticipate welcoming 300 to 400 international participants, renowned researches, young investigators in training, clinical doctors and representatives from several charities. ECDO is established as a scientifically excellent and intense meeting, and the most prominent researchers in the field consider this to be the most important conference to participate in. ECDO meetings are characterized as very active with almost as many abstracts as participants.

We hope to welcome you in Stockholm at the 19th Euroconference on Apoptosis!
