The conference will take place in Le Meridien Chia Laguna, located about 50 km to the west of Cagliari, the capital city of Sardinia. The resort is close to some of the most beautiful beaches on Sardinia and combines a large conference center with the pleasant stay in cottage rooms, spread throughout the Mediterranean landscape.

Every year, we welcome about 350 people, from all over the world. The focus of the conference, the special attention for the poster presentations and short oral communications, the common lunches and social programs create an atmosphere of stimulating discussions and contacts. Therefore, the ECDO conferences are considered as one of the best meetings in the field of cell death research.

The thematic areas that will be covered in this year's Euroconference include:

* DNA damage and cancer

* Inflammation

* Neurodegeneration

* Organelle cross-talk

* ROS

* ER stress

* Development

* Autophagy

We hope to welcome you in Cagliari at the 14th Euroconference on Apoptosis!
