Location
The conference will take place in
Le
Meridien Chia Laguna****, situated about 50 km to the west of Cagliari, the
Capital city of Sardinia. The resort is
close to some of the most beautiful beaches on Sardinia and combines a large conference
center with the pleasant stay in cottage rooms, spread throughout the
Mediterranean landscape. Please note that there are no other hotels
within walking distance of the conference hotel Chia Laguna.
The resort is situated closest to the airport of Cagliari (Elmas),
and can be easily reached via
Rome or Milan and from all major European capitals. The transfer from Elmas airport to the resort takes around 50 minutes and is included in the
registration fee for participants arriving on Friday September 29 or Saturday
September 30 and leaving on Wednesday October 4. There is no regular shuttle
service or public transport to the conference venue.

Accommodation
Accommodation will be offered in cottage rooms. All rooms are surrounded by natural meditteranean vegetation
and are totally
renewed, with independent air conditioning, satellite TV, mini
bar and telephone.

To allow maximal conference participation, we encourage double room
occupancy as much as possible. This double room
occupancy will be obligatory for participants receiving a scholarship covering
"Living expenses".
Roommate requests will be
honored as much as possible.

The above rates are per person per day, on full board
basis (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Rates are inclusive of sport facilities for beach volley,
fitness, swimming, tennis, 5 a side football pitch.
Extensions of the stay are possible at the same rates.

An advance payment of two
nights will be requested. The balance is to be paid upon arrival in the
conference hotel Chia
Laguna. An original invoice will be provided at check-in.
To arrange local transport form the Cagliari airport to the
hotel, it is necessary for the participants to provide their flight schedule
upon filling in the accommodation form.
